According to aBig Downloadreport, the expectedBattlefield: Bad Company 2patch did not drop as planned last afternoon for a good reason: it had problems. The band-aid was ripped off after EA DICE discovered “crash bugs,” which is decidedly more unpleasant than having to continually refresh servers and hitting a “join” button.
The studio does have new plans to release the now-troubled patch at some point today, Tuesday, which is totally neat because it’s not like we had plans to playFinal Fantasy XIIIinstead of grinding our Engineer. Thanks, DICE.
