The video details a fight against a big green monster who bears more than a passing resemblance to a Malboro from Final Fantasy. As always, the dodgy localization is in place, but I’m hoping the traditional turn-based combat is good enough to make up for the issue.
I’ve still got my hopes for this game, as I do for any game that realized reinventing the JRPG wheel is totally unnecessary. If Ignition could see its way clear to giving us a Japanese voiceover to assuage the purists between now and launch, however, I’m sure excitement for the game would increase considerably.
