“Kicks ass” works in two ways here. First off, great trailer, Atlus. It really gets you pumped for the game. But it also kicksyourass, and reminds you how much the game kicks your ass.

I haven’t had a lot of time to spend with my review copy due to travel, but the time I have had has been great. There’s not really anything else like this action RPG out on the PS3. But, as you’ll see in the trailer, it has no problem letting you know that the game is difficult. You start out as a weakling, a nobody. And you’re dead, really.Everythingis a bitch. You will die so frequently that it isn’t even funny. When you do succeed, it will be like the heavens parted. It will be a glorious day. And then you’re off to the next dungeon to be beat down again. I can’t wait unitl my schedule clears up so that I can return for more sweet punishment.
