OK, let’s me just say this right now — Criterion has done downloadble content better than anyone else this generation. Sure, Harmonix/MTV are rocking it weekly withRock BandDLC, but Criterion’sBurnout Paradisestuff? All free, and mostly radically game-changing.
Today, the developer has revealed yet another new addition to the series, the “Extreme Hotrod.” Sometimes in early 2009, the new Carson Extreme Hotrod will be made available. They’re teasing that the car will re-imagine the game’s boost system, and will handle more realistically than any other vehicle in the game; other than that, they’re keeping quiet on specifics.
The car was revealed over on thePlayStation.Blog, but we’re pretty certain we’ll also see this vehicle hit the Xbox 360 version ofBurnout Paradise.
