American commercials don’t have enough crazy dads. This new Japanese commercial for the WiiWare version ofAce Attorneyis proof.
The commercial kind of drags ass until dad gets into the action, flinging his Wiimote-holding hand and yelling. I don’t think he could have made a more intense face. Mom even gets into it. And at the end, dad has to be reminded that he’s holding the television remote, and not the Wii Remote. Dad, you’re such a dumbass.
This commercial is for the the December 15th release ofAce Attorneyon WiiWare in Japan, where it will sell for 900 Wii Points. There’s more coming down the line for them, too. Hopefully Crazy Dad makes a comeback.
