Today, during the Midway’s panel at Comic-Con, wherea bunch of new characters were announcedforMortal Kombat versus DC Universe, a specialMKbundle was announced for the PS2. The bundle is called theMortal Kombat: Kollectionand will star full versions of the last three MK titles in one slightly larger box. In case you missed theMK“dragonboat,” the last three titles wereMortal Kombat: Deception,Armageddon, andShaolin Monks. The bundle will hit store shelves this September at $29.99.
Of course, the only two titles really worth purchasing areArmageddonandShaolin Monksbecause of Johnny Cage and punching people in the balls. I’ve already gone over this a billion times, but Midway has yet to respond to any of my 546 e-mails about the massive slight that isMortal Kombat versus DCwithout Cage. If you’re still kicking it with a PS2, this seems like a pretty good deal. I really enjoyedArmageddon, even though the Kreate-A-Fatality mode was a bit busted.
