On December 16,Civilization Vwill get its next batch of paid downloadable content: Spain (Isabella), Inca (Pachacuti), and a new scenario, all bundled together for $7.49.
The scenario is a 1492 “voyage across the Atlantic in search of a western route to China and the Indies.” Theoretically, you can queue up “A Whole New World” fromAladdinto blast through your speakers and energize you across your treacherous journey. The in-game music is fine too, I guess.
I always enjoy covering these games, because it A) forces me to remember learning about history in school and the once-suppressed memories that follow, and B) sends me on a spiraling Wikipedia journey that ends with me reading about something gross.
