With all of the excitement surroundingShadow Complex, I think most of us had forgotten Chair Entertainment was working on an adaptation ofEnder’s Gamefor digital distribution outlets. Little other than an emphasis on the fiction’s Battle Room was known about the project, and there’s a reason for that.
While Chair “had an amazing design” forEnder’s Game, studio co-founder Donald Mustard told Joystiq, “one of Epic’s primary objectives is to create original and unique franchises. I don’t know thatEnder’s Gamefits into that strategic objective anymore.”
“If anyone decides they want to make it, I have some ideas I’d love to talk to them about.”
That’s cause for celebration, assuming you either dislike licensed games or Orson Scott Card. Or, maybe you just want that darnedShadow Complexsequel. Either way, I can’t fault you.
