Maker of fine (if not sometimes totally crazy) peripherals Nyko Technologies will be debuting some new hardware at CES this week.
Among the goods are a bunch of brightly-colored guns for pew-pewing, and a cooling fan that makes your Xbox 360 look like an alien spacecraft.
Power Shot for Move
Because the Move controller doesn’t look like a gun and you like your peripherals to be huge, Nyko is introducing the Power Shot. It’s a massive tactical rifle attachment for Sony’s motion controller. It even features a removable and rotating dock for the navigation controller, and “an extendable stock,” which Nyko says will help you with aim. It’s out this March.
Perfect Shot for Move
Because the Move controller doesn’t look like a gun and you like your peripherals slightly smaller, here’s the Perfect Shot. It’s similar in design to the Perfect Shot Nyko released for the Wii Remote awhile back, with the Move controller sliding into the shell. Get it this March.
Perfect Shot Pro for Wii
I suppose Nyko had success with its original Perfect Shot design (Wii owners love shooting things!), so it’s introducing a new “Pro” design this year. What makes it “pro” is the vibration support that provides feedback with each trigger pull. It’s out in April, costs $19.99, and comes in a white, black, and orange design along with a new “digital camo” design.
Intercooler STS for Xbox 360
An Xbox 360 S overheating? Unheard of! If you don’t want to take any chances and want to make your Xbox 360 S look like it’s ready for takeoff, here’s the new Inercooler STS.
The “TS” stands for Nkyo’s “TempSmart” technology, which has the fans kicking in when needed, and turning off when it’s cooled off. It uses one of the 360’s USB ports for power, so there’s no need for an AC adapter or batteries.
It kind of looks like a bluetooth headset for your 360, too, which is plus for folks who like to dress up their consoles and play “house.” It’s $19.99, and it’ll be out this February.
Charge Base S
It’s a charging base for you Xbox 360 controllers, if you don’t already have one. Designed for two controllers, it uses two custom rechargeable batteries that charge in two hours, and last for 25.
Pretty cool extra feature: it has a USB port on it, so you may charge another device like an additional controller or your cell phone.
It’s out in March, and will run you $24.99.
