What’s left for Kratos afterGod of War III? It looks like the spirited man who spits in the faces of gods and titans will resume his role as the spirited man who spits in the faces of gods and titans.
In a not-so-recent interview withGamervision, Sony Santa Monica director of project development John Hight revealed that theGod of Warseries is set to continue afterGod of War IIIis released.
“This is not the end ofGod of War,” Hight said during the video interview. “This is definitely the end of the trilogy, but we’re going to continue to doGod of Wargames.
“We’re going to be very careful about what we do. We’re the keepers of the franchise and we don’t want to see it ruined or polluted.”
I assume that Kratos will resume his role in the nextGod of War, but it’s possible that another protagonist could step into the picture — and that’s not a bad thing if you chew on it real nice and slow. I’m all about controlling Kratos’ mini-game bastard child in an epic adventure to find his father. Or, a gryffon flight sim. That’d berad.
