What are your plans for this month’s San Diego Comic-con? Me? I’m working the event for this fine network of websites, as is Colette, Rey, and Japanator’s Tim. Find me if you want to get a drink in the evenings.IfI had some downtime, I’d get my button mash on in a series ofTekken 6tourneys to be held during the event.
Namco Bandai andTekkenfan site SD Tekken have teamed up to host four days of tournaments during Comic-Con. From July 23-26, Room 17B of the San Diego Convention Center will be packed with early console versions ofTekken 6, giving players a chance to fight it out as well as get an early look at the game.
I’m no good atTekken, but I’ll attempt to check out the tournament anyway, seeing as how the retail version for PS3 and Xbox 360 doesn’t come out until October 27th. If I get into a match, I’ll be sure to use my trademark rubbing-thumb-in-a-circle-quickly-over-buttons technique.
