Criterion’sBurnout Revengeis due for another big update in the form of a landscape, but it won’t be free. Recently, Criterion updated fans onBig Surf Island. The DLC is a new area designed specifically to quench players’ apetites for big air. According toCriterion’s blog, the island will be around the size of the Downtown area in the main game.

Unfortunately, all free things must come to a semi-end.Big Surf Islandwill be considered “premium content” and thus will require you to open your pocketbook if you want to experience it. Criterion has previously related to fans that the content would be free, but made the switch because of the “ambitious” nature of the project. It apparently turned into a much larger area than what was originally intended.
