If you’re a Blizzard fan of any kind, you may have either attended last year’s Blizzcon or lived vicariously throughour coverageof the event. Blizzard has just announced the dates and details for Blizzcon 2008, which will likely provide an exciting two-day vacation forWorld of Warcraftplayers who otherwise never leave the house.
The event will take place on October 10th and 11th and will be held in Anaheim, California, at the Anaheim Convention Center. Activities planned include a silent auction, discussion panels with Blizz developers, costume contests, tournaments, and possibly the most exciting of all: hands on time with upcoming Blizzard releases.Starcraft 2, anyone?
Tickets will be $100 for both days and you may reserve them in advance atBlizzard’s Web site. You might want to snag those early — it’d be a mite humiliating to have to wrestle a Night Elf at the door for a pair, especially if your costume isn’t as fancy as his.
