Develop posted a short Q&A with BioWare’s Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk. In case you wondered, they were doctors at a hospital before they started to devote all their time on BioWare.

Their favorite games wereWasteland, a “precursor to the Fallout stuff”, and the firstSystem Shock. An open world RPG and a rich 3D shooter with RPG elements set in Citadel Station? No wonder BioWare ended up withDragon AgeandMass Effect.

When asked about what disappoints him the most, Muzyka thinks there are “too many games released today”. No argument there, although some more games spread across the summer would be nice. He continues: “For us, we have to play our games, play competitor’s games, play other relevant games, and play the handful of games we just really want to play more of and finish.”

What do they enjoy about the game industry? Muzyka likes all the great games. Zeschuk adds the people aspect: “There’s all the great teams, and the quality across the board. There are so many good games to play, and so many people doing so many different things.”
