Unsurprisingly,Batman: Arkham Cityis getting one of those fancy collector’s editions this October when the game is released.
RetailersGameStopandBest Buyhave both listed the $99.99 set which will include an art book, animatedGotham Knightcontent, “early access” to downloadable add-on content, and a statue. The “premium statue” is designed byKotobukiya, and will “bring the excitement of the game into the real world,” whatever that means. Neither listing shows an image of the in-box goodies, but that sounds more like a diorama than a simple statue of the Dark Knight, if you ask me.
The game’s publisher Warner Bros. has yet to officially announce the box, but as soon as we get some more details and pretty pictures, you’ll be sure to know about it.Batman: Arkham Asylumgot its own collector’s edition, complete with a Batarang, and that was before it was a proven hit.
