I clearly just don’t getRuneScape. Some time ago, at the insistence of a younger cousin (who played the free MMO religiously), I gave the game a shot, and was subsequently unimpressed. Maybe my standards were just set too high, used to the level of quality in higher-profile MMOs that come attached with a monthly fee.
Well, despite whatever kept me from getting into it, there seem to be a lot of people that did. The Guinness Book of World Recordshas determinedRuneScapeto be the world’s largest free-to-play MMORPG.
