Seasons change, people die, taxes come andHalomakes money for Microsoft. These things are facts of life that will never change, so it should come as no surprise that Microsoft is building up 343 Industries, the Microsoft Games Studio that is now in charge of the franchise. The companyrecently posteda plethora of new job postings pertaining 343 Industries andHaloitself.
While some of the jobs mentionHalo Waypointothers seem to be hinting at a new project that relates to theHalouniverse. One of the listings mentions develpong a new experience, saying, “Do you loveHalo? Do you want to be part of the creation of a new game in theHalouniverse? Are you passionate about the tools and infrastructure necessary to make great games? The MGSHalostudio, 343 Industries, is looking for a talented, experienced development lead to help create the next generation ofHalotools and technical infrastructure. We are gathering an incredible team to help drive the future of Halo.”
Other listings hint at furtherWaypointdevelopment and other new ways that theHalouniverse/social network will function. One has to assume that theHalo Reachteams and most of theWaypointteam is already together, and with this many hirings at once it looks like Microsoft is putting together a new team for a anew project. Then again, they could just be support for those two projects. Whatever it is Microsoft is planning for all these new staff members I think we can expect plenty ofHalolove for years to come now.
