Lead game designer Jim Richardson has posted new details about the enemies ofEarth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, as well as provided some backstory for those damn dirty Ravagers.
Earth Defense Force 2017was a game in which I shot down all buildings on sight (because they were going to be destroyed anyway) and fired missiles into fellow squads (because they were going to die anyway). As such, it’s funny to read about serous topics like “genetic seeding techniques” and “the Great Culling.”
Turns out there are more insects than I was anticipating. (It is, after all, calledInsect Armageddon.) The ticks look devilish, but after an incident this weekend where a swarm of ants consumed my office, I’m ready to go afterEDF‘s classic black ants more than anything else.
