I haven’t picked up 3DS gameProfessor Layton and the Miracle Maskyet, but some of my friends have and they’re all loving it. I was wondering if it would be the top-selling title, and now Famitsu has confirmed that it is.Laytonmoved 117,598 copies, which means that about one out of every four 3DS owners picked this one up. Congrats! This has to be the first time that a Layton game came out at the top of a launch line-up.
Other than Layton, I know thatSuper Street Fighter IV 3DandRidge Racer 3Dwere really popular. I’m looking forward to seeing the full data on all games next week.
Speaking of data, Famitsu gave a more exact sales figure for the actual 3DS as well. They say that 371,326 units sold in the first two days. That’s just right under that 400,000 number that Nikkei said was blown through.
