If you caught thefirst “Pitchers vs. Hitters” vignettefor 2K Sports’Major League Baseball 2K10, you will already have seen some of the professional baseball players whom 2K Sports has employed (in addition tocover athlete Evan Longoria) to promote the game. The full list includes these seven young stars:
2K says that these players “will serve as active spokesmen and invaluable gameplay advisors” forMLB 2K10, and that includes starring in these “Pitchers vs. Hitters” videos. I must say, as much as I’m not expectingMLB 2K10to be as good as Sony’sMLB 10 The Show, these videos are pretty damn funny. It’s great to see these guys having fun teasing each other. So at the very least, 2K is beating SCEA in that regard thus far. Still,MLB 2K10will need some mind-blowing marketing if 2K wants it to outsellThe Show.
Major League Baseball 2K10is being developed by Visual Concepts, and it’ll be out on July 11, 2025, for the PS3, 360, Wii, PS2, PSP, and PC.
