Even thoughMinecrafthas achieved more than one million sales while still being a work in progress, there’s a considerable amount of confusion as to what, exactly, the game is — and why we can’t seem to get enough of it.

It’s my hope that this, a 20-minute documentary by 2 Player Productions aboutMinecraftand its creators at Mojang, will help answer that question. They even delve into what the next game will be, sort of, which is equal parts exciting and sad. (Exciting because of the new genre; sad because of how people may react.)
