99Bullets launching on DSiWare May 23rd

99Bulletsis a unique little shoot-em-up that I’ve been curious to try. With only 99 bullets in your arsenal, you have to make every shot count if you’re going to survive. Today, developer EnjoyUp has announced that the game will be releasing in the DSiWare store next week on May 23rd. I’m looking forward to getting access to DSiWare games on my 3DS because I’m sure there are a number of little treasures in that shop which I haven’t had the chance to play yet....

Battlefield 3 has 10x more pre-orders than Bad Company 2

Electronic Arts has boasted thatBattlefield 3pre-order figures are ten times those ofBattlefield: Bad Company 2. It would appear that the hype and gorgeous graphics are paying off. By all accounts,Battlefield 3is going to be one of the most serious contenders for the First-person-shooter crown we’ve seen in a long time. EA has sunk a ridiculous amount of money into its advertising, and the huge marketing push has paid off. Of course,Call of Duty, which can’t help but be brought up thanks to EA’s obsessive comparisons, continues to grow each year, soBattlefield 3has a tough fight on its hands if it wants to be crowned king of all military shooters....

Bit Transmission episode 4, with guest Ashley Davis

Real quick, I have to talk about that header image. I asked Holmes to see about making the portrait of Ashley Davis seen in the above dialog box. Captain Obvious: Motorstorm tops Europe PS3 sales charts

As possibly the most non-news item you will read all day, Captain Obvious feels the need to call outNext-Genon reporting on something that seems like the silliest thing this side of a new console without HD-capable graphics. rimshot crickets Now usually, we love Next Gen for their fair and balanced, hard-news approach, but when the ol’ Cap’n sees stuff like “MotorstormSeals Top Spot in Europe” and then reads the story to find out they actually mean the PlayStation 3-only sales list, then the Captain gets angry....

In an interview withgameindustry.biz, Proper Games CEO (Flock!)
