New Plants vs Zombies trailer jams out with music video

I’m convinced that the people atPopCapgames are a bunch of geniuses, otherwise how could I somehow be madly in love witha game hosted by a goddamn unicorn? I’ve been fascinated with their newest title,Plants vs Zombies, ever since I sawthe first screenshot early last month. I’m glad I don’t have to wait much longer for this title, because after seeing the music video they made to promote the game (watch after the jump), I’m convinced this game is going to be in heavy rotation in my household very soon....

New releases for the week of 04/21/08

I blame you all for getting me interested in thePersonaseries. All of the endless posts in the C-Blogs and the main page on this series have finally pushed me over the edge and I’m going to be getting thePersonagames now. From what I gather from all of your opinions of the series, it’s better than sex with a unicorn. We shall see.Other than that, not much else out there this week....

Nintendo DLC: Lawn darts!

I honestly hadn’t heard of lawn darts until a few years ago, when it was introduced to me as “lawn jarts.” Yes, “jarts,” with a “J.” I don’t even think that’s a word. In any case, there’s a lawn darts game out for WiiWare this week and it supports up to 16 players. That’s either a lot of Wii Remotes lying around your living room, or a hell of a lot of passing around of the controllers....

Nom nom: Edible Nintendo Points Cards are in the house

A surprising but tasty package arrived from Nintendo today — a box of three cookies designed to look like Nintendo Points Cards. (No, they’re not redeemable for points, buttotallyedible.) The idea here is that Nintendo is saying that for over thee years, “people have been enjoying the delicious downloadable offerings on Nintendo systems.” That, somehow, translates to delicious cookies. It also offers directions for “Nintendo’s Recipe for Holiday Joy”: It’s unclear what I’m supposed to do with the flour, sugar, and eggs once I bring them to my Wii....

Ontamarama DS will give you cute brain freeze

As Destructoid’s self-proclaimed ambassador ofcute Japanese things, let me say that while this new Atlus title looks to be aimed at kids, I really want to play it anyway.
