Raised in a family of real-life defense attorneys, I’ve been interested in seeing how Capcom could take something as serious as law and transform it into a game. Forgive the blurriness of these videos taken straight from this week’s Pokemon Sunday, but they’re the best that I can post right now. Blurry or not, they show us one thing for certain; the days of fully static Pokemon battles appear to be over. The animation here doesn’t utilize a lot of “re-drawn sprites”, and given thatPokemon Black/Whitemay end up having +600 Pokemon, that’s to be expected. Still, from what I can tell, the animation here looks smooth and convincing, adding a lot of personality to the already strange and occasionally disturbing world of Pokemon....

You write for ABC, don’t you think you could have possibly researched the situation enough to know that the Wii is called a “console” and not a “game?...

The next episode in Telltale Games’Back to the Futureseries is out next week, the developer/publisherhas revealed. It’s called “Double Visions,” and it’ll have Marty McFly going to an alternate-world 1986 to create an invention that will (presumably) prevent a young Doc Brown from making a life-changing mistake. Each member of the organization was given a card, but there doesn’t seem to be any reason yet that for people receiving them, though rumor has it today may be the day we find out why they came....
