A title being an Xbox 360 “exclusive” usually means one thing: it’s likely to make its way to the PC at some point or another. Keep checking back with us for more updates.” That would, of course, suggest thatFable IIis indeed on its way to a personal computer near you....

Publisher Web site shenanigans, where would we be without them? The Xbox 360 dashboard update, complete with Twitter and Facebook functionality, was given a release date of November 17 today by the UK Xbox Web site, finally giving us a date other than “before Christmas.” However, it seems that Microsoft didn’t want us to know that, as the date hasnow been strippedfrom the site. What does this mean? Well, it either means Microsoft was wrong or that Microsoft hadn’t planned on announcing that today....

Last month, Wayside Creations released atrailerfor theirFalloutfan film,Nuka Break. The final product is a 16-minute short following a vault dweller and his companions as he seeks out the pinnacle of wasteland refreshment, Nuka Cola. And it’s available for you to watch on the internet right now. I enjoyed it, myself. There are a few points at which the pacing slows a bit but this is a pretty stellar effort for a low-budget production....

TheFalloutgames are a series that has seen better days. Once the epitome of PC RPG gaming, they’ve been reduced to crap RTS games and even more crap console shooters. While Bethesda scooped up the rights to a trueFalloutsequel, Interplay, the original publishers ofFallout, managed to hang on to the rights to make aFalloutMMO, and according tothis SEC filing, they intend to do just that, and very soon. If there is a god up there in his magical cloud castle, I hope he realizes just how important this game would be....

This time around, the world’s most brightly colored and eye-searing magazine hasgotten its handson long-delayed Wii gameDisaster: Day of Crisisand given it a whopping 34/40 points. The game has been on the DL for a very long time beforesuddenly popping upa few weeks ago and saying “O hai, I’m almost finished!” I was skeptical of such shenanigans, but according toFamitsu‘s recommendation, it would seem thatDisasteractuallywon’tbe the overdeveloped mess that its production cycle would suggest....

Sure, it’s not perfect and it’s got some glitches, but it’s solid entertainment — I spent 3 hours on the same Proving Grounds level last night, and I had a great time. But, as usual when we have any kind of review, PS3 fans come out to bash the game, and 360 fans start comparing the game to PSN games of totally different genres in an attempt to bash the PS3....

The team at Square Enix has a lot to celebrate today.Final Fantasy XIIIhas sold over one million units here in America in the first five days that it’s been out.Final Fantasy XIIIhas now become the fastest-selling installment in the franchise’s history. Square didn’t give a breakdown of whetherFF XIIIsold better on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 so we’ll have to wait for the NPD data next month to get a clear picture on that …....

Today, I was finally able to accomplish a life goal: meeting our oft-venerated and oft-vilified Reviews Editor, Sir James Xavier Sterling III, Esq. (I may be getting his full name wrong). Sunday, July 26, 2025, will go down as a banner day for this great nation, as Sir Sterling has honored the country we hold so dear by deciding to grace us with his presence — he’s making the United States of America his new permanent home....
