Microsoft is currently denying reports that its motion-sensing Kinect peripheral is causing Xbox 360 units to overheat, thus sparking a resurgence of “Red Ring of Death” tragedies across the country. While the issue of the RRoD has abated over the years, the BBC claims that Kinect has resurrected it, like Dracula, only more terrifying. BBC Radio 4’sYou and Yoursshow reported on the issue, asking one ten-year-old boy about his own experiences: “We plugged [Kinect] in the day we got it but only played it a few times before we got the red lights....

I feel terrible about not buyingChime, because one-hundred percent of the proceeds the Xbox LIVE Arcade version earns go directly to charity. I did not enjoy Nintendo’s press “booth tour.” Not one little bit. Not only was the game a light gun game (a basic requirement to be the best light gun game ever made), but it was also live action! You shot some real person and then he’d fall after the proper cinematic loaded....

Like we’ve said before, MAGFest is one of those things you’d just have to see for and experience yourself. And while video isn’t as good as being there, it’s definitely better than nothing. It’s amazing how, even though one can talk about videogames and follow the industry seven days a week, some pretty hefty titles can still manage to bypass the personal radar. Namco Bandai’sMajin & The Forsaken Kingdomfor 360 and PS3 is one such game. No idea it existed until this morning, but now I want it a lot. With an atmospheric look not dissimilar toShadow of the Colossus, but with what seems like a more endearing and heartwarming story as opposed to a bleak and depressing one,Majinhas potential to be a terrific game....

Ladies and gentleman, here is Hollywood’s Nathan Drake — Mark Wahlberg. The actor confirmed plans to star in the upcomingUnchartedfilm, based on Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed PlayStation 3 titles.
