Conduit 2 delayed to April, but have some screens

SEGA has announced that its upcoming online Wii shooter,Conduit 2, is getting a modest delay. Originally slated for March, the game will now hit North America on April 19, with the European version arriving April 22. To tide you over, however, a batch of new screens for High Voltage’s title has hit the Internet. The shots look pretty damn slick (yeah, I know, for a Wii game) and I’m hoping this one will be a little more exciting than the last....

Driver: San Francisco has a pretty intense launch trailer

Flipping vehicles, police car sirens blaring, blockades being destroyed, epic background music and one-liners. There’s also some cutscenes peppered in there for good measure. Yup, everything is here for a successful launch trailer. Personally, seeing this game in action has me all nostalgic and remembering the good times I had with the first two titles back in the day. That’s probably becauseSan Franciscois a return to the formula those two games had, which can mean only good things in my book....

E3 10: Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit gets trailerized

My first big surprise of E3 came in the form of Criterion Games’Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. The studio’s magnificence in the racing genre had me on high alert, sure, but even its pedigree wasn’t enough to prepare me for what a strong showing the game would ultimately have at EA’s press conference. I wasn’t alone, either. Our editors’ chat — where we only talk about work and never about fluffy animals, scantily clad people (hey, Tonetta!...

E3: THQ not upset by Wii U — they did it 18 months ago

You might think that THQ would be nervous about the Wii U, since the Wii U’s new controller shares some similarities with THQ’s uDraw tablet, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. When THQ’s Martin Good was asked by CVG if they were worried about the similarities between the two controllers, Good waved away any concerns, and implied that Wii U may even be good for the uDraw, as it may raise interest....
