2K Sports has sent out the first semi-trailer for its upcoming baseball sim,Major League Baseball 2K11, and you’re able to watch the whole thing above. It only has about 30 seconds of footage from the game, but if you’re a baseball fan, it’s probably enough to whet your appetite. Then again, “new player models” and “improved fielding” might not exactly be the kinds of back-of-the-box bullet points that get your blood pumping....

Starting next month, people will be able to use their PSN accounts to stream “100s” of PSN-available movies in HD and SD directly to their Sony Bravia and blu-ray devices, as well as their Vaios and Windows-enabled PCs....

We spotted Epic’s Cliff Bleszinski proposing a new method of scaling difficulty for returning gamers last night. The basic idea is that a game lowers the challenge if someone hasn’t played a title in a while, allowing them to ease back into the game. “Games should detect if you haven’t played for a bit and then soften the difficulty a smidge upon return,” he said. “Then ramp it back up slightly....

Airtight Games is probably best known for creatingCrimson Skies, an excellent aerial combat title for the original Xbox that explored an alternate history full of crazy, gun-toting planes. More recently, this was the studio who brought usDark Void. I’m of the opinion that everyone deserves a second chance, so the news that Airtight is currently working on “several new AAA titles” has me cautiously optimistic. What gave it away? Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for its upcoming eye-scorcher of a sequel, detailing thestory that we’ll seein the single-player campaign. Aliens, infections, and more masturbation over the Nanosuit are all in attendance. I really hope Crytek is putting a lot of effort into the single-player. Yes, multiplayer is fast becoming an essential component in most videogames, but you have to play to your strengths, and EA’s strength is not in going toe-to-toe withCall of Duty....

I see plenty of ass-y, sun-yellowed Dreamcasts on used game store shelves these days, so it’s refreshing to see such a cool custom job. This particular system’s story starts out in a similar way. A woman purchased this Dreamcast from a flea market. The Dreamcast system had become filthy from being in storage, but it was priced right. French artist Ozcan did this custom work to it to make it look even better than new....
